I listened to a fair amount of Kill Hannah recently due to the new album being released. What's that you say? It hasn't been released yet? Well then how did I get it? Oh that's right. Regardless, it's pretty good and it's worth a download.
I heart Ladytron.
Saw Nine Inch Nails with Peaches opening this past week. Peaches was pretty nuts. She stripped down to next to nothing and sang about vaginas for a while. But she's no Trent Reznor. Who is? My god he puts on a show I hate the tweeter/First Midwest/World Music theatre more than any other venue, but NiN turned up to 11 to make up for the crappy acoustics of the place. Trent is one of the few musicians that continue to inspire me to still do music.
Speaking of Trent and his nails of nine inches, there's a mashup album online based off the recent "With Teeth" album. So if you like them (or even if you don't, it's free... GOD!) go grab it. It may/may not be worth your while. http://www.boototom.info/withboots/

I'm often being asked if I can hook people up with new music, or recommend what people should check out. I figure there was a good way to do this on a regular basis for those who were interested, and here it is. As a member of this list you get to experience new music as I do. Using the idea that an artist that i've played for the first time is something new to me, and music listened to the most are my favorites, I can share that with you. New artists only played once or twice are obviously nothing to write home about (or write here about), so they aren't even mentioned.
